Cigrattes After Sex

  • Cigarettes After Sex is an ambient pop band known for their dreamy music style, formed in 2008. This self project rebrands Cigarettes After Sex as they celebrate 10 years of music.

  • The chosen color scheme (black and white) is linked to its original identity. The textures are suggestive of smoke, ash and the hazy effect of their music. They are created with ink, sand paper, marbling and bubble wrap are symbolic of the residue of cigarettes - the smoke and ash.

  • The red color adds spunk and is an element of celebration as it links all pieces together .It also represents the intensity and romance in the music. It gives their identity a new spunk as it still operates in the same space.
